2 Year Old Maizee

Well, It finally happened, Maizee turned 2! I have been calling her a 2 year old for the last few months, so it seemed weird that she wasn't actually 2 yet. Maizee had a fabulous birthday week. Her big day was on Thursday and while Daddy was at school we had our own little princess party. We invited Maizee's new friend and neighbor, Leah over to make princess crowns and magic wands.

Leah gave Maizee her first Barbie doll, it was a huge hit!

     On Friday Maizee's cousin Nickolas came to celebrate with us at Hogle Zoo. At first it was really hot and Maizee just woke up from her nap so she seems a little groggy in the pictures but I can assure you she enjoyed all the animals.

"It's a Bear!"

  We stopped at the Tiger exhibit in "China Gardens" and ate ice cream and cooled off. After that both kids were much happier and more excited to see the rest of the zoo. Word of the wise: go in the spring-it was hot!!!
   Saturday we had a pool party at our new house. It was great! the pool was the perfect temperature and everyone had a blast.

Maizee loves the pool! She is a great little swimmer and it makes mommy happy cause that means more time in the cool water!

Birthday girl!

  After the pool we finally ate cake and ice cream and opened presents. Maizee was spoiled! She got lots of pretty girl things and wouldn't let mommy take them off for bed time.

Of course her cake had to be cute!

Princess dress up!!!

  We didn't get pictures of her opening her other presents but they included: tea set, play food and grocery basket, baby with bottle, new sandals and hair accessories, a new dress and 2 new puzzles. Clearly she got everything she wanted!
